This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds and changes may be handled for services requested through HalalChinaTrips.

Because many services involve third-party providers, refund rules may vary depending on the type of booking and provider policy.

1. General Policy

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on:

  • Whether the booking has been confirmed
  • Third-party provider rules
  • Ticket or service refund deadlines
  • Payment status

2. Travel Planning Service Fees

If you pay for travel planning, itinerary consultation or route design services, the refund policy may depend on whether the planning work has started.

Before Planning Work Starts

If you cancel before we begin the planning work, a refund may be available, minus any payment processing fees where applicable.

After Planning Work Starts

Once itinerary planning, research, communication or coordination work has started, the planning service fee may be partially refundable or non-refundable, depending on the amount of work already completed.

After Final Plan Is Delivered

Once a customized itinerary, travel plan or consultation result has been delivered, the planning service fee is generally non-refundable.

3. Booking Assistance Service Fees

Booking assistance service fees may cover time spent checking availability, communicating with providers, coordinating details and supporting the booking process.

Once booking assistance work has started, the service fee may be partially refundable or non-refundable.

If the requested booking cannot be completed due to unavailability, we will inform you and discuss possible alternatives.

4. Attraction Tickets

Attraction ticket refunds depend on the rules of the scenic area, ticket platform or provider.

Some tickets may be:

  • Refundable before a specific deadline
  • Partially refundable
  • Non-refundable after issue
  • Non-refundable after the visit date
  • Non-refundable if traveler information is incorrect
  • Non-refundable if unused due to late arrival
  • Subject to platform or processing fees

If we assist with ticket cancellation, the final refund amount depends on the ticket provider’s policy.

5. Transport and Private Transfer

Private transfer cancellation rules depend on the driver, transport company or local provider.

Possible situations include:

  • Full refund before a certain deadline
  • Partial refund after vehicle or driver has been arranged
  • No refund for last-minute cancellation
  • No refund for no-show
  • Additional fee for route or time changes
  • Additional fee for waiting time or overtime

If the provider has already reserved a vehicle or driver, cancellation may result in partial or no refund.

6. Guide or Interpreter Services

Guide or interpreter service cancellations depend on the provider’s schedule and policy.

A refund may be limited if:

  • The guide has already been reserved
  • The cancellation is close to the service date
  • The guide has rejected other work for your booking
  • The traveler changes the date or route last minute
  • The traveler does not show up

7. Hotels or Accommodation

If we assist with hotel or accommodation arrangements, the refund policy will follow the accommodation provider’s rules.

Some hotel bookings may be refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable depending on:

  • Room type
  • Booking platform
  • Check-in date
  • Cancellation deadline
  • Deposit rules
  • Peak season policy

8. No-Show Policy

A no-show means the traveler does not arrive at the agreed time and place without proper notice.

No refunds are usually available for no-shows, including:

  • Missed attraction entry
  • Missed transfer
  • Missed guide service
  • Missed hotel check-in
  • Late arrival beyond allowed waiting time

Travelers are responsible for arriving on time.

9. Weather, Traffic and Local Policy Changes

Travel may be affected by weather, traffic, scenic area closures, public events, safety restrictions or local policy changes.

If a service is cancelled by the provider due to such reasons, refund eligibility depends on provider rules.

We may help communicate with the provider where possible, but we cannot guarantee a refund if the provider does not allow one.

10. Changes Requested by Travelers

If you request changes after confirmation, such as date, time, route, number of travelers or pickup location, additional fees may apply.

Changes are subject to:

  • Provider availability
  • Ticket rules
  • Transport schedule
  • Guide availability
  • Hotel rules
  • Cancellation deadlines
  • Local conditions

We cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

11. Refund Processing Time

Payment processing fees, currency exchange differences or platform charges may not be refundable.
