How do I get to Jiuzhaigou from Singapore or Malaysia?
There are no direct international flights to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport. Fly from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur to Chengdu — direct, around four to five hours — then connect by domestic flight or bullet train. The connection is the part that trips travelers up, so we book the through-journey as one plan: pickup in Chengdu, the onward leg, and the transfer to your hotel near the park gate.
What is Jiuzhaigou's altitude — will I get altitude sickness?
The valley runs roughly 2,000–3,100 m, and most visitors feel nothing worse than a faster heartbeat on stairs. Huanglong is higher — its terraced pools top out around 3,500 m — and that's where elders should go slowly.
